General Information About the 17th Century Four-Bedroom, Two -Bathroom (sleeps eight) House near L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

The 17th C. house is located at the end of a long and very lovely, tree-lined, private drive on a 20 acre estate about two kilometers (1.2 miles) outside the delightful Provençal town of L’Isle sur la Sorgue (well-known for its traditional and antiques markets). L’Isle sur la Sorgue is about 15 miles east of Avignon, on the western edge of the Luberon area. Also available for rental on the estate is a three-bedroom, two and one-half-bathroom house. Each house is comfortably furnished and has a telephone. A beautiful swimming pool and gardens are shared by the two houses as well as by the owners, who live in a separate house on the estate.

The house – downstairs: Entry from graveled courtyard. Private garden terrace with table, chairs and barbecue. Lovely kitchen/dining room with all appliances, including dishwasher and washing machine. Living room with fireplace.

The house – upstairs: Huge bedroom with king-size bed. Two additional bedrooms with two twin beds. Full bathroom, with both tub and separate shower and double sink, accessed from the hall. Separate toilet completes the upstairs.

The house – separate apartment: The house comes with its own spacious, separate guest apartment, with entry across the courtyard. Living/dining/kitchenette, one-bedroom (two twin beds), and full bathroom with shower.

My client prefers a minimum two-week stay but may be able to accommodate a one-week rental. The weekly rent is €1,900 in June, July, August and September, €1,500 in May and October, and €1,000 in other months. There are also modest, incidental charges. The rental period runs from 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon until 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Once you let me know a specific rental period in which you are interested, I will check availability with my client, the owner. Payment terms are a 30% (of the total rent) non-refundable payment at the time of booking with the non-refundable balance due 60 days before scheduled arrival. Payment is to be made to me, and I will transfer it to my client.
